As the Community Involvement Committee Coordinator, KellyAnn (who also goes by KA and uses they/them or she/her pronouns), connects community members with volunteer opportunities throughout Multnomah County, staffs the Community Involvement Committee and supports other work of the office. They are especially passionate about housing, economic justice, and engaging in work towards collective liberation.
Raised in Eastern Washington, KA comes to the Office of Community Involvement after holding positions in social services working as a Domestic Violence Housing Advocate a Portland nonprofit and supporting case work at a LGBTQIA+ youth shelter in Texas. KA also brings experience in supporting coalitions and community organizing in Portland and beyond.
KellyAnn lives with her partner, troubled dog, assorted housemates and guests, and many plants. Outside of work she enjoys learning languages, getting together with friends, supporting mutual aid projects, and reading good books.
