Statewide Data Dashboards Initiative
The Arnold Foundation has awarded Multnomah County a grant to develop, implement and host a new statewide performance measurement platform that will provide real-time data to Parole and Probation Officers (PPOs) about their clients using Tableau Server dashboards. The dashboards created for each county will provide PPOs with data in user-friendly formats that allow them to see a client’s history, identify emerging trends on their caseload, and monitor fidelity to evidence-based practices.

Smart Supervision Grant Evaluation
Integrated department's evidence-based case management model with training from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on adolescent brain development, trauma-informed practice, and equity/culturally competent services. RAP is the primary evaluator, and monitors fidelity and outcomes for JSD and ASD clients between the ages of 15-25, as well as data support and visualization.

MCJRP
The Multnomah County Justice Reinvestment Program began in 2014 to support the public safety goals of Oregon HB3194. RAP participates in a collaborative Data and Evaluation Sub-Committee that provides ongoing analysis and reports about the program’s effectiveness.

Gresham Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Project
An expansion project in which Gresham Police Department has partnered with Cascadia clinicians to improve their response to mental health crises in the Gresham community. RAP provides data gathering, visualization and analysis services.

Women's Re-entry and Assessment Program
Recognizing female offenders sentenced to jail as a growing population of justice involved individuals; the WRAPS grant offers trauma informed wrap around services in an effort to reduce future offending.
HEAT
This project focuses on refining and expanding of the Habilitation, Empowerment, and Accountability Therapy curriculum for African American men in the DCJ Gang Unit. The project will create fidelity standards specific to community supervision settings, pilot use of a HEAT coaching model to ensure fidelity, and offer refined trainings for public safety and community partners.
EPICS
DCJ implemented the EPICS model developed by the University of Cincinnati to guide how community corrections officers monitor justice-involved adults, make service referrals, and conduct face-to- face interactions. RAP supports the EPICS implementation and coaching team with process and outcome measures feedback.
Racial and Ethnic Disparities
RAP helps monitor the rates of racial and ethnic disparities impacting our work in the Adult and Juvenile Service systems.
Treatment Courts
RAP is the evaluation partner for a new SAMHSA enhancement grant of the Multnomah County START Court. This grant begins in October 2017.
NIJ: Disrupting Pathways to Gang Violence
RAP will use grant resources (from the W.E.B. Du Bois Program of Research on Race & Crime) to explore characteristics, experiences, and perceptions of gang affiliated youth that are unique compared to non-gang affiliated youth. The Research and Planning Unit will also explore characteristics, experiences, and perceptions of intergenerational gang-affiliated youth that are unique compared to non-intergenerational gang affiliated youth.
