- Survey in English and Spanish open through March 7, 2023
- Project seeking community input on issues people face along N.E. Halsey Street between 201st Avenue to 257th Drive
- Multi-jurisdictional project led by Troutdale, Multnomah County, Fairview and Wood Village
The Main Streets on Halsey Project is seeking community input on the corridor of N.E. Halsey between 201st Avenue to 257th Drive. The project team would like to know how users travel the corridor, challenges they may face navigating Halsey and changes the community would like to see on the three-mile stretch. Your voice is important! Community input from the survey will help the project team in drafting design options for the corridor.
Project Background
Since 2017, Fairview, Wood Village, Troutdale and Multnomah County have been working together to create a shared vision for the three-mile stretch of N.E. Halsey. The multi-phase project seeks to transform the corridor into a ‘main street.’ The project aims to further unite the three cities, build community and attract businesses. This project will create and evaluate different street design options and develop a draft design plan that will reflect each community’s uniqueness while providing visual continuity throughout the corridor.
Next Steps
This is the first public event for the project. The project team will hold two other public events to give the community an opportunity to participate in the design process and gather feedback. The next public event will be in May 2023. To receive project updates, please sign up here.
