Friends of Multnomah County Shelter Animals is accepting applications for volunteers to serve on its board of directors and committees. Seeking passionate animal-welfare advocates in the community to participate and provide input for grant-writing, corporate sponsorships and fundraising, social media engagement, and education outreach efforts.
Interested applicants should provide contact information, a personal background brief on animal welfare, and qualifications to sherrigoldstein3@gmail.com or wonmor@pacifier.com. All applicants will receive a reply.
The next community meeting is on January 23, 2019 at the Multnomah County Midland Library at 6:30 pm.
About Friends of Multnomah County Shelter Animals
In operation since 1997, Friends of Multnomah County Shelter Animals is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) funding programs and supplies to benefit the animals at Multnomah County Animal Services. Major contributions include but are not limited to funding for outreach and animal transport vehicles, a mobile spay & neuter clinic, funding for the Kitten Triage Program, and shelter enrichment programs.
Because of a possible conflict of interest, county employees are prevented from active participation with Friends of Multnomah County Shelter Animals.
