Fleet Week, which begins the week of June 6, will impact several downtown Portland bridges maintained by Multnomah County. The Broadway and Burnside bridges will lift for ships arriving in Portland during the annual event that brings in U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Canadian ships.
Ship arrivals
**These are estimates and ship arrival times are subject to change.
Tuesday, June 6: Expect two ships arriving with bridge lifts between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 7: Expect one ship arrival with a bridge lift between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, June 8: Expect seven ships arriving with bridge lifts between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Real-time bridge lift updates will be posted on the Portland Fire and Rescue Twitter page and reshared on Multnomah County social media channels.
All ships leave on Monday, June 12. Expect frequent bridge lifts and traffic delays during ship departures that morning.
