Lead Poisoning Prevention Fair

Lead poisoning is preventable! We’re ending National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 22-28) with a free event to help you learn ways to detect and prevent lead exposure at home.

• Bring items from home for lead testing
• Take home a free lead dust testing kit
• Get information about grants to help reduce lead paint in older homes

Items to bring for testing:

• Garden or yard soil in a small zip lock bag
• Household items like toys, dishes, and antiques
