The Providence Bridge Pedal event this weekend will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County.
Hawthorne Bridge
Saturday, August 10
On Saturday Aug. 10 starting at 6:00 p.m. the most southerly eastbound traffic lane, south sidewalk, S.W. Natio Parkway ramp and the center westbound traffic lane will close for traffic control setup. Center eastbound & north westbound traffic lanes will remain open.
Sunday, August 11
On Sunday, Aug. 11 starting at 5:30 a.m. the south sidewalk, all eastbound vehicular traffic lanes, the center westbound traffic lane and the S.E. Water Avenue ramp will be closed for the event until 12:30 p.m. that day. To take down the bridge’s deck cover and traffic control setup, the most southerly eastbound traffic lane, S.W. Naito Parkway ramp and center westbound traffic lane will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. that day.
Morrison Bridge
On Sunday, Aug. 11 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the S.W. Naito Parkway on-ramp, all eastbound traffic lanes and the S.E. Water Ave. ramp will be closed for the event..
Sellwood Bridge
On Sunday, Aug. 11 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. the south sidewalk and bike lane will be closed for the event. Cyclists and pedestrians not participating in the event will be detoured to use the north sidewalk and bike lane.
