Originally from Oregon, she has spent the last fifteen years in Seattle, WA and Houston, TX, and is excited to finally return home. She is a social worker by training and earned her Master's of Social Work from the University of Washington where she specialized in public policy and organizational administration.
Prior to starting with Multnomah County, Natalie spent the last four years working for an elected official in Houston and covered behavioral health, public health, and safety net services for children and adults. She has also worked at the City of Bellevue, WA and with Seattle/King County on housing and homelessness issues. Outside of local government, most of her career experience has been in nonprofits serving individuals without housing or individuals impacted by the justice system.
