Two Multnomah County job-connector shuttles to conclude service as TriMet picks up routes

This month, Multnomah County Transportation’s Swan Island Evening Shuttle and its Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park (TRIP) Shuttle will conclude service. TRIP shuttle’s last day will be Sunday, January 26, 2025. Swan Island Evening Shuttle’s last day will be Friday, January 31, 2025.

Multnomah County launched these shuttle services in 2019 and 2020, helping build transit ridership along these routes. TriMet is taking over the two routes, which now have robust ridership. These shuttles are the result of a partnership with the City of Portland, the City of Troutdale, EcoShuttle, TriMet and community partners.

Which TriMet line should I take?

TRIP shuttle riders can now take TriMet Line 81 from the Gresham Transit Center to reach Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park.

Swan Island Evening Shuttle riders can now ride TriMet Line 40 from locations including Sellwood, South Macadam Ave., downtown Portland and the Rose Quarter to reach Swan Island employers.

Note: The ACCESS Shuttle, Multnomah County's third and newest shuttle that serves the Alderwood-Cornfoot-Columbia Corridor, will be continuing operation and will soon be increasing its frequency. Please stay tuned for more information on these upcoming changes.
