A friendly reminder that most Multnomah County offices will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Please read on for the specifics.
Christmas and Christmas Eve Closures
- Multnomah County Health Department, Multnomah County Community Health Center and Student Health Centers will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.
- Multnomah County Division of Recording, Assessment, and Taxation in-person, email, chat, and phone services will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.
- Multnomah County Library branches will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 25. (All libraries will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23.)
- Multnomah County Animal Services will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25.
New Year’s Eve and Day Closures
- Multnomah County Health Department, Multnomah County Community Health Center and Student Health Centers will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
- Multnomah County Division of Recording, Assessment, and Taxation in-person, email, chat, and phone services will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1
- Multnomah County Library branches will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1. (All libraries will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31)
- Multnomah County Animal Services will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1).
Normal hours will resume Countywide on Friday, Dec. 26 following Christmas and Friday, Jan. 2 following New Years.
