On July 9, 2026, the Oregon Supreme Court declined to review the most recent appeal to Multnomah County’s ban on selling flavored tobacco and nicotine products. This means the Multnomah County sales ban stands.
Until the case is officially closed in the courts, there are no changes for tobacco retailers.
The court plans to review the case for closure in August. And it could take more time for the lower court to enter the final judgment.
We do not have a schedule for when changes will happen. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
