Hawthorne Bridge to close for electrical work

The Hawthorne Bridge will close on several days at the end of July and early August for electrical upgrade work. Plan ahead for your commute and use alternative routes. 

July 29

On Wednesday, July 29 starting at 5:30 a.m., the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for electrical upgrade work. The bridge will reopen at 6:00 p.m. that evening. 

July 30 

On Thursday, July 30 starting at 5:30 a.m., the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for electrical upgrade work. The bridge will reopen at 6:00 p.m. that day.

July 31 

On Friday, July 31 starting at 6:00 a.m., the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for electrical upgrade work. The bridge will reopen at 6:00 p.m. that day.

***AUGUST 1-2 FULL WEEKEND CLOSURE***

On Saturday, August 1 starting at 6:00 a.m. the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for electrical upgrade work. The bridge will reopen at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2.

This work is not weather dependent.
