We evaluate and treat active tuberculosis for groups who are at high-risk and live in Multnomah County.

  • RN case management
  • Chest x-rays
  • Sputum collection and/or induction
  • Laboratory tests
  • Medication
  • Direct observed therapy
  • Side effects management and monitoring
  • Evaluation and help with psycho/social issues affecting treatment
  • Epidemiology investigation and treatment of contacts as needed

Who We Serve

People who live in Multnomah County who:

  • Have TB symptoms
  • Are referred to us by a doctor or clinic to rule out TB (we must receive documentation in advance) 
  • Have a recent TB infection or exposure (case contacts to an active TB case)
  • Were born outside of the U.S. and are recent Class B immigrants or refugees

How It Works

You need a referral to see us. If you think you might have TB, the first step is to make an appointment to see your doctor or clinic. 

If you don't have a doctor, call 211. Or contact our Community Health Centers at 503-988-5558 to become a patient.
