About the mobile health van

It can be difficult to get health care when you lack transportation, can’t take time off work or don’t know where to go. Starting in January 2024, our mobile health van will be bringing health care to your community.

The mobile health van offers medical, dental and lab services at rotating locations in Multnomah County. The schedule will include weekday hours and some evenings.

We can see you with or without insurance. We also have interpretation available in any language.

The van is the newest addition to the Multnomah County Community Health Center’s network of clinics and student health centers.

Services

The mobile medical van offers comprehensive health care for all ages, including:

  • Treatment of injuries and illnesses
  • Diagnosis and management of chronic diseases (such as heart disease and diabetes)
  • Physical exams
  • Reproductive health
  • Vaccines
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Routine lab tests
  • Dental check-ups and cleanings
  • Behavioral health referrals
  • Limited prescription drugs

Cost

Affordable, sliding scale fees. This means that fees for services are adjusted depending on an individual's income. No one is turned away if they cannot pay.

We accept many insurances. If you don’t have insurance, we can help you apply for coverage through the Oregon Health Plan.

We can also see if there are other medical assistance programs you might qualify for. Ask staff for details.
