The Hospital Facilities Authority of Multnomah County, Oregon is a municipal corporation, authorized and empowered by ORS 441.525 to 441.595 (the "Act") to issue revenue bonds for the purposes specified therein, including providing funds to nonprofit corporations sufficient for constructing, furnishing and equipping "hospital facilities" under the Act, upon such terms and conditions as the Authority may deem advisable.

The Authority is a means of facilitating access to tax-exempt financing to improve the hospital facilities within Multnomah County. Neither the Hospital Facilities Authority of Multnomah County, nor Multnomah County as a political subdivision of the State of Oregon, have legal or financial responsibility for the repayment of these bonds.

Requests for financing before the Authority must comply with Multnomah County's mission of planning for the needs of a dynamic community, prioritizing the needs of our most vulnerable, and promotes a healthy, safe, and prosperous community for all.
