The Homelessness Response System is currently recruiting for one member of the Steering and Oversight Committee who lives outside of the City of Portland AND pays the Metro Supportive Housing Services Tax.

Participation Description
About the Steering and Oversight Committee
The Homelessness Response System Steering and Oversight Committee brings together elected officials, leaders, experts, and community members to set strategy and KPIs; monitors progress and performance towards goals; ensures alignment of jurisdictional investments towards strategies and performance of the actions outlined in the Homelessness Response Action Plan.
The ten-member Steering and Oversight Committee includes five voting and five non-voting members.
Voting members are the Multnomah County Chair, the City of Portland Mayor, a Multnomah County Commissioner, a City of Portland Councilor, and an East County elected official and are eligible based on their elected seat.
Non-voting members include the CEO of Health Share, the CEO of Home Forward, a member of a local chamber of commerce, a behavioral health practitioner, and a person who pays the Supportive Housing Services tax.
