FY 2027 Chair's Proposed Budget: Sign up to Testify or Submit Comments

Sign up to testify at a public budget hearing or submit written comments about the Multnomah County Chair's proposed FY 2027 budget.

Before the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners votes on June 4, 2026 to adopt the County budget for fiscal year 2027, we want to hear from you!

The Board of County Commissioners wants to hear from as many community members as possible. To ensure every member of the public who wishes to testify has an opportunity, we kindly request that speakers sign up for only one public budget hearing. People who have not yet testified will be prioritized. Anyone can submit written testimony at any time during the budget process, from April 16th - June 4th, and all written testimony will be shared with the Commission.

You may use the form below to:

  1. Sign up to testify during Multnomah County's three public budget hearings.
  2. Submit written comments or suggestions about the County's proposed budget.

The three public budget hearings are currently scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, April 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be a hybrid hearing held virtually and at the Multnomah Building (501 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland).
  • Wednesday May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be an in-person hearing at Mt Hood Community College (2600 S.E Stark St., Gresham OR 97030).
  • Wednesday, May 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be a virtual hearing.

Members of the public can watch a live stream of each public budget hearing on the Multnomah County Board YouTube channel. For instructions on calling in by phone to listen to a budget hearing, visit the Board Clerk’s website.

Thank you for your feedback.

Please contact boardclerk@multco.us if you want to submit written testimony outside of this form, or if you have any additional questions.
