Share Your Ideas with the Charter Review Committee

The Multnomah County Charter Review Committee wants to hear from you! You can submit written comments with your input on changes to the County Charter.

Every six years, a Multnomah County Charter Review Committee (MCCRC) is convened for the purpose of studying the County Charter and, if it chooses, to submit Charter amendments to the voters of Multnomah County. The charter is the local version of a constitution, essentially creating the structure of Multnomah County government.

The 2027-2028 Charter Review Committee will begin work in March 2027. Stay tuned here to learn how to get involved!

All comments received are added into the meeting record and may be subject to disclosure upon request under Oregon’s Public Records Law. Members of the public are encouraged to review past CRC Materials to learn more.
