Oregon's Smoke Free Workplace Law prohibits smoking in almost all public places and workplaces, including:
- Bars
- Bars in restaurants
- Bingo halls
- 75 percent of hotel and motel rooms
In addition, smoking is not permitted within 10 feet of any entrance, exit, window or air intake vent.
This applies to:
- Public places: Any enclosed area open to the public.
- Places of employment: Any enclosed area under the control of a public or private employer that employees frequent during the course of employment.
