Multnomah Leadership Academy

The award-winning Multnomah Leadership Academy is an annual program that offers selected employees the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to advance into management, executive and other mission-critical positions within the county. Participants experience an interactive and practical curriculum that expands their understanding of themselves, local government and leadership while promoting pride in public service. This six-month program includes customized support resources, such as a 360-degree leadership assessment, training, mentoring, and the chance to network with participants and leaders to gain a broader perspective.

Toastmasters at Multnomah County

Do you want to become a better communicator, leader, listener, thinker, and speaker? We have an active Toastmasters group that's open to Multnomah County employees. The biggest misconception about Toastmasters is that it is only for people who regularly speak publicly. This is simply untrue. Toastmasters is for anyone who wants to improve their communication skills and leadership ability.

We invite current employees to learn more by visiting the Commons and by viewing the latest offerings on the Countywide Training Calendar.
