TRAFFIC ALERT: Beginning Monday, April 27, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. overnight, the Broadway Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles for work to paint the bridge counterweights. Crews will need space for equipment to do this work. Each weeknight through Friday, May 8, the bridge will close overnight during those same time frames. During these overnight closures, sidewalks will remain open for cyclists and pedestrians.
Multnomah County maintains five Willamette River bridges: the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside and Broadway Bridges as well as the Wapato Bridge over the Multnomah Channel. For information, visit https://www.multco.us/bridges.
