TRAFFIC ALERT: Beginning Saturday, May 2, at 5:00 a.m. to Monday, May 4 at 5:00 a.m., the Broadway Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles to install new steel and complete balance testing of the bridge. This is part of continued work related to Multnomah County’s Broadway Bridge Deck Replacement Project. During the weekend closure, sidewalks will remain open for cyclists and pedestrians.
Multnomah County maintains five Willamette River bridges: the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside and Broadway Bridges as well as the Wapato Bridge over the Multnomah Channel. For information, visit https://www.multco.us/bridges.
