On Sunday, August 16, the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for maintenance work. Crews will be greasing the counterweight cables which is part of regular maintenance for the bridge. Use alternative routes.
