TRAFFIC ALERT: Hawthorne Bridge closures scheduled for April 2, 3, 4 and 5 are canceled this week.  

The County previously sent a release on the closures for work to install new gear that controls opening and closing of the bridge. The closures will be postponed for at least a month to allow for additional engineering work before the installation.  

Multnomah County maintains five Willamette River bridges: the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside and Broadway Bridges as well as the Wapato Bridge over the Multnomah Channel. For information, visit https://www.multco.us/bridges.
