Join the Aging & Disability Services Advisory Councils

Advisory councils play a key role in shaping the programs and services of the Aging, Disability, and Veterans Services Division. Council members advise the county of emerging issues they encounter in the community and educate the public about the services and programs available through our Division.

Aging Services Advisory Council (ASAC)

The Aging Services Advisory Council provides on-going advice and guidance on policy decisions and program development for service delivery to older adults. The council is looking for 7 new members. For this round of onboarding please reach out by October 2, 2020. Interest form to become a member.

Disability Services Advisory Council (DSAC)

Helping advise on service eligibility guidelines, evaluating program effectiveness, and advocating for issues pertinent to the life and welfare of people with disabilities. The council is looking for 19 new members to relaunch the DSAC this fall! For this round of onboarding please reach out by October 2, 2020. Interest form to become a member.
