Multnomah County, Ore. (June 2, 2026) — TRAFFIC ALERT: Fleet Week is this week — with ships starting to arrive as soon as today, June 2 — and will impact several downtown Portland bridges maintained by Multnomah County and partner agencies.
The Steel, Broadway and Burnside bridges will lift for ships arriving in Portland during the annual event that brings in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Canadian ships.
Ship arrivals:
**These are estimates and ship arrival times are subject to change.
Tuesday, June 2: Expect three ships arriving with bridge lifts between 2 and 5 p.m. Lifts will be longer than normal, in some cases up to 45 minutes.
Wednesday, June 3: No arrivals are slated for Wednesday.
Thursday, June 4: One ship is expected to arrive on Thursday evening at 7 p.m — affecting the lower deck of the Steel Bridge.
Friday, June 5: No arrivals are slated for Friday.
Saturday, June 6: Expect ship arrivals and departures on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m, affecting the lower deck of the Steel Bridge.
Monday, June 8: Expect bridge lifts and delays between 7 a.m. and noon for ship departures.
