DCJ would like to help raise awareness about the concerning issue of school drop-out rates in our community. Refusing to Fail is a 15-minute video that chronicles the challenges and successes of three Portland youth who disconnected from school, and later found their way back to education and a career path. A former DCJ probation youth is highlighted in the video while other DCJ youth assisted in the production of the project. Refusing to Fail is the latest production of the Portland Schools Foundation's Connected by 25 Initiative.
