SURVEY NOW LIVE: Help shape the future of N.E. Sandy Boulevard

Multnomah County Transportation’s Safer Sandy Project survey is now live. Your voice matters! Take the survey to help weigh in on future improvements of N.E. Sandy Boulevard between N.E. 201st Avenue and N.E. 230th Avenue. This is the project’s third survey and final phase of public outreach.

In summer 2025, Multnomah County asked for feedback on how to improve the safety of this corridor on N.E. Sandy Boulevard.

Here’s the priorities we heard:

  • Adding sidewalks
  • Improving bike lanes
  • Installing new crosswalks

Tell us what you think about the proposed design, which was shaped by public input in the project’s previous surveys.

The survey is available in EnglishSpanishRussian and Ukrainian and is open through February 6, 2026.

Sandy Boulevard connects to local businesses, neighborhoods and jobs in Gresham, Fairview and Wood Village. Right now, the road is missing some crucial safety features including sidewalks, bike lanes and crosswalks. Safer Sandy, is an estimated $500,000 Multnomah County Transportation Planning project which is funded through Oregon Metro’s Regional Flexible Funding Allocation. The County aims to develop a plan to make N.E. Sandy Boulevard between N.E. 230th Avenue and N.E. 201st Avenue safer for everyone to use. This project is a partnership between Multnomah County, the City of Gresham and the City of Fairview. For project information, visit: https://multco.us/info/safer-sandy.
