TRAFFIC ALERT: On Monday, April 20, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. the Stark Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic for crews to make retaining wall repairs. Closures will continue each weekday during those same timeframes through Friday, May 1. County Bridge Maintenance is making repairs to the north approach retaining wall which was damaged in a crash in fall 2025.
To detour around this closure, use the Sandy River Bridge in Troutdale to access Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview and Wood Village as well as Interstate 84.

On Monday, May 4 - Thursday, May 7 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, the Stark Street Bridge will be closed to all traffic for crews to install shotcrete, a process that involves spraying concrete to create a smooth aesthetic finish on the retaining wall.
