Every year, public institutions – from school districts to local governments – spend billions of dollars on food purchases. Institutions have an opportunity to lead food systems change while advancing a fundamental value for environmental sustainability. The Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) Program will explore the role of institutional food procurement in climate resilience and highlight how Multnomah County plans to bring sustainability and equity to its food purchasing.

This event will include several raffle drawings for Chinook Books.
