(Portland, OR) - Pets reign supreme on the internet and in our community. With the upcoming election in November and the urgency for voters to register before October 18th, Multnomah County Elections is collaborating with Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) to host a special #PawstoVote Voter Registration Outreach and Adoption Special event on September 27th at the Multnomah County Animal Shelter.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 27 from noon - 7 p.m. (National Voter Registration Day)
Where: Multnomah County Animal Services, 1700 W Historic Columbia River Hwy, in Troutdale
Why: To promote voter registration and awareness with the help of pets
Who: All are invited to attend to register to vote, visit with and adopt pets, meet the attending VIPs, and enjoy the festivities.
