Seniors need transportation in Multnomah County. Here's how you can help.

.

The answer: transportation.

Access to meals and activities help older people thrive. But many people don’t have easy access to a car or public transportation.

That's why Multnomah County partners with the local nonprofit Ride Connection.

Last year they served 18,000 people with 559,444 rides to necessary services.

But there’s one problem, they need a lot more volunteers.

During Older Americans Month we’re asking people to volunteer with Ride Connection.

You'll be able to connect socially with an older adult and provide them with opportunities to leverage their experience and wisdom.
