DCJ Grievance and Complaint Process
DCJ clients and members of the public may submit a grievance or complaint online, or in person at any DCJ location. Once submitted, you should receive a response within 5 business days. If you have not received a response within that timeframe, you may call a DCJ office and ask to speak to a supervisor: Adult Services (503.988-3747) or Juvenile Services (503.988.3460).
To submit a grievance or complaint online, navigate to the web form at the bottom of this page. Note: as of September 2025, the submit online feature is currently being developed; check back soon or use one of the other available options listed below.
You may also complete a complaint form (fillable PDFs are available in English and Spanish) and drop it off at any DCJ field office location. View DCJ's locations and phone numbers.
County employees and community members can also report suspected fraud, abuse of position, and misuse of county resources via Multnomah County's Good Government Hotline.
