Multnomah County's Office of Sustainability is recruiting to fill several vacancies on the Advisory Committee for Sustainability & Innovation (ACSI). Stipends are available to support broad participation.

Do you believe that climate change should be addressed through a social and racial justice approach? Do you think that all people in our community deserve to benefit from the transition to a renewable future? Do you want to create lasting, systemic change to better serve Multnomah County's residents?

ACSI Member Commitments

Members commit to:

  • A membership term from January 2025 through December 2026.

  • Four quarterly meetings held in January, April, July, and October.

  • Monthly sub-committee meetings (optional for all members).

    Multnomah County is primarily known for its role as the health and human services provider for the area, however, the County also provides services for animals, assessment and taxation, bridges, community justice, courts, elections, jails, libraries, marriage licenses and passports, school and community partnerships.
