Multnomah County, Ore. (May 8, 2025) — All eligible voters should have received their ballots for the May 20, 2025, Special District Election.
Voters who have not yet received a ballot, or who need a replacement ballot, should contact Multnomah County Elections as soon as possible.
Voters can call Elections at 503.988.VOTE (8683) — or they can go online and obtain a ballot through Elections’ convenient Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service. Voters who use the online Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service can either avoid — or shorten — an in-person visit to Elections’ two voter service sites.
Voters using the service can ask to have a replacement ballot mailed to their residence. Or they can ensure a replacement ballot is immediately ready for pickup at a “will call” window in-person. “Will call” service is available at either the Voting Center Express, inside the Multnomah County East Building at 600 N.E. 8th St., Gresham, or at Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building at 1040 S.E. Morrison St., Portland.
Two choices to return your ballot
Voters have two choices for returning ballots. First, you can vote early and return your ballot by mail. No stamp needed!
Oregon law requires all elections offices to count any mailed ballot that was postmarked on or before Election Day and also arrives within seven days of Election Day.
You can also return your ballot to an Official Ballot Drop Site. Return your ballot to any 24-hour Official Ballot Drop Site in the state or to any 24-hour Multnomah County Library Drop Site.
All 32 Multnomah County Official Ballot Drop Sites are listed at multco.us/dropsites. You can also access an interactive map showing the County’s drop sites here.
Track Your Ballot available in multiple languages
It’s never too late for voters to sign up for Multnomah County Elections’ popular Track Your Ballot service! Sign up at multnomah.ballottrax.net.
Voters can choose to receive ballot alerts and updates in English, Spanish, Russian, Somali, Ukrainian, Vietnamese or Chinese.
Text, email, or voice alerts will tell voters when their ballots are in the mail and then later when their voted ballots have been received.
Alerts also indicate whether ballots have been accepted for counting or whether further action is required by the voter. “Accepted Ballot” messages also include a virtual Oregon “I Voted” sticker ready to share on social media.
Extended hours for voter assistance will start May 17
As Election Day approaches, Multnomah County Elections will offer some weekend and evening hours for voter assistance at both the Voting Center Express in downtown Gresham (600 N.E. 8th St.) and the Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building in Southeast Portland (1040 S.E. Morrison St.).

- Monday, May 19: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Election Day, Tuesday, May 20: 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Support is available for voters with disabilities and in voters’ preferred languages

Voters can also request assistance in their preferred language. Multnomah County Elections has multilingual staff available.
Elections can also provide an interpreter, free of charge, to any resident who needs help in a language other than English. Telephone or video interpretation is available in any language, including American Sign Language (ASL).
