DCS Community Budget Advisory Committee

Our CBAC reviews and advises on our department budget and operations. It ensures we hear from the community in everything we do.

Our Community Budget Advisory Committee is made up of members drawn from around the community. They work with Department of Community Services leaders, reviewing our budgets, programs and services. Their recommendations help us reflect the needs and values of the people we serve.

The CBAC learns about our work and prioritizes funding for the fiscal year. Then they make recommendations for the County Chair to consider on our budgets and operations.

CBAC members are vital, helping us do better work through our Animal Services, Elections, Land Use Planning and Transportation Divisions.
