Multnomah County, Ore. (May 19, 2026) — Today, Tuesday, May 19, 2026, is the last day to vote in the Primary Election.
Voted ballots must be received at any county elections office in Oregon or Official Ballot Drop Site location by 8 p.m., tonight, May 19, 2026, or mailed and postmarked by May 19, 2026, to be counted.
The results schedule for this election is available online.
Oregon law requires all elections offices to count any mailed ballot postmarked on or before Election Day that also arrives within seven days of Election Day. However, due to recent USPS changes, ballots (or any other pieces of mail) may not be postmarked on the same day they are dropped off to the post office or USPS collection box. This makes it risky to return your ballot by mail today, Election Day.
Multnomah County Elections recommends voters return their ballot to an Official Ballot Drop Site to ensure it’s received by an election office in time to count!
If you choose to return your ballot by mail, voters are strongly encouraged to request a manual postmark at the customer service counter of their local Post Office. Check hours and locations first.
Voters can use any Official Ballot Drop Site — including most Multnomah County Library 24-hour book drops — to safely and securely deposit ballots until 8 p.m. tonight. Find your nearest Official Ballot Drop Site at multco.us/dropsites.
All registered voters should have received their ballots by Thursday, May 7, 2026. Registered voters who have not received their ballots or need a replacement ballot should contact the Elections office immediately.
