All food service workers in Oregon must obtain food handler’s certification within 30 days of their hire date (OAR 333-175). To get certified, you must pass the food handler’s test, either online or at our office.
Tests and training materials are available in multiple languages. Allow 20 minutes for the test.

Take the Test
Online
You will need an email address and credit card. Once you've passed the test, you may print your food handler card from the website. Take the test
In Person
Call us for hours. Bring a photo ID and the $10 fee (cash only). You can take a written or audio test (on compact disc).
