Office of Community Involvement

The Office of Community Involvement (OCI) was created by voters in Multnomah County in 1984.  It is the county agency charged with providing staff support for the Community Involvement Committee (CIC) and its programs. Some of these programs include Budget Advisory Committees, diversity workshops, and others. In addition, this Office reaches out to communities throughout the County to involve, inform, and integrate people who live, work or own property within its borders into decision-making within County government. The OCI strongly believes that the more voices that are heard at the table will lead to a more equitable commonwealth.
