Multnomah County has partnered with a trusted payment vendor, 'Point and Pay', to make paying online from your bank account, credit or debit card and over the phone quicker and more convenient.

Set up paperless billing

To set up paperless billing, you’ll first need to create an account with Point and Pay, our third party vendor. Once you have an account created, you’ll need to add your bill(s) to your dashboard.Once you’ve added your bill(s), go to your dashboard and select the PAPERLESS icon on the right side of the dashboard.If you have multiple accounts (properties), you’ll need to turn on PAPERLESS for each of the accounts (properties) you’d like to go paperless.

Making a payment with Point and Pay.

Point and Pay charges a fee to use its online or phone services. Multnomah County does not collect or retain any portion of this fee.

Fee for paying from bank account - $1.00 per transaction.

Fees for debit card - $3.50 per transaction.

Fees for credit card - 2.35% per transaction.

One-time payment vs registering an account

With Point and Pay, you can make a one-time payment as a guest. If you register an account however, you can receive additional benefits, including:

  • Dashboard to manage multiple accounts.

  • Schedule future payments.

  • Sign up to receive paperless tax bills and reminders regarding due dates.

Finding your property

You can find your property tax account in three ways:

  • Account number (example Rxxxxxx, located on your tax bill)

  • Owner Name

  • Property Address

A copy of the most recent tax statement is available to view on the payment site.

Note: Electronic and phone payments must be electronically delivered by 11:59 pm on the due date to be considered timely.

Electronic payments are quicker, cheaper and easier than mailing your payment. Pay from Bank Account

Pay with a credit or debit card

You can make your property tax payment with a credit or debit card using Point and Pay’s simple, mobile-friendly website. Convenience fees apply. American Express is not accepted. Pay with a credit or debit card.

Pay over the phone

Point and Pay’s automated phone system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to make your property tax payment. You can pay online from your bank account, credit and debit card. Convenience fees apply.

Deadline for online payments

Any payment made online must be received by our office by 11:59 pm on the due date to be considered timely. Late payments are not eligible for the 3% discount and will incur interest charges.
