The City of Portland offers free water test kits lead-in-water testing for residents, childcare providers and schools. Test kits are available for residents who live in the Portland Water Bureau service area, and residents who live in some nearby water districts.
They do not provide water test kits for private wells.
Test kits will be mailed in 1-2 weeks. You’ll get the test results in the mail 4-6 weeks after they receive your water sample.
