Multnomah County employees show their Pride at annual celebration

In honor of Pride Month, Multnomah County employees marched from West Burnside Street to Tom McCall Waterfront Park in the 2015 Pride Parade on Sunday. The festival is held each year to celebrate the rise of LGBTQ rights in the Oregon and Southwest Washington communities.

County staff from the Prism Employee Resource Group, HIV and STD Services, the Department of Community Justice and Multnomah County Animal Services marched in the parade, as well as Commissioners Diane McKeel and Jules Bailey.

The parade follows a proclamation by the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners declaring June Pride Month in Multnomah County.
