History of the Multnomah County Hoarding Task Force

2013-2026. Since the Hoarding Taskforce began, more than 5,000 people attended trainings in Multnomah County, throughout the State, and at the International OCD Foundation Conference (2026). We consulted with other cities and municipalities who started their own taskforces and brought nationally recognized experts to our community to teach close to 100 professionals how to organize and run Buried and Treasures Groups.

We created a website with resources and information and promoted best practices throughout the state of Oregon. The task force ended in June 2026.
