The Family Voices Council

The Family Voices Council's mission is to uplift youth and families with lived-experience in the Juvenile Justice System.

Help us develop more beneficial services

The Council believes that those who've been a part of the Juvenile Justice System are experts on how to best support youth and families.

Council members will share their feedback on system policies and procedures and create proposals to help develop more beneficial services.

Hourly compensation, transportation costs, and catered meals are provided to all participating Council members.

A space to learn and share

The Council is...

  • A no-judgement zone: The work is collaborative, so we actively listen to one another and welcome diverse perspectives.
  • A space to learn and share: We uplift each other's ideas, strengthen our shared leadership and communication skills, and strive to make a positive difference in our communities.
  • Open to discussion: If you have any questions or feedback, don't be afraid to ask. There's no such thing as a "silly" question.

Get involved

The Family Voices Council is seeking justice-involved youth and/or family members who are passionate about making a positive difference in the Juvenile Justice System.
