ACHP Monthly In-Person Provider Meetings
Meetings are held once a month on a Wednesday, from 1 - 4 p.m. Fee is $30 for 3 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Meetings are held at 600 NE 8th St. Suite 100

No provider meetings scheduled in November or December 2025.
Continuing Education Requirements
To qualify for a Continuing Education Unit (CEU), all classes or trainings must be approved by the State of Oregon's Adult Foster Home Training Credit Committee or by the ACHP. Make sure the trainings are approved for the population you are licensed to serve. You can find CEU courses in a variety of places:

Provide certificates of completion for your required CEUs with your renewal application.
Pre-Application Requirements
You must complete requirements based on the populations being served in the care home. When a care home serves residents from more than one population, you must complete requirements for all populations being served.
All requirements in the table below are free unless a fee is listed.
The ACHP may require you to take additional training as needed.
Provide certificates of completion or transcripts for all requirements when you submit your application.
Currently-licensed operators who are applying for an additional license should check with their licenser on which trainings must be retaken.
Oregon Care Partners Courses
Many courses are offered by Oregon Care Partners. To get a certificate of completion, you must create your own account and take each training online as an individual. Be sure to print or save your certificate as a PDF. The ACHP will also accept transcripts from Oregon Care Partners.
State of Oregon Workday Learning Courses
To complete courses through Workday Learning, you must create an account.

It is transferable between adult care homes and facilities. This course must be retaken every 24 months. There are a number of fake online courses that say they are approved in Oregon, so be sure to get your card from Multnomah County or one of the approved providers. | Before application |
| CPR and first aid certification | All operators, resident managers, and shift managers | In-person courses are required for both first time certification and renewals. Courses that are online only are not allowed (MCAR 023-070-630). If a portion of the course is provided online, there must be an in-person skills test conducted by a qualified instructor. | Qualifying Test | All operators, resident managers, and shift managers | Before taking the test, complete all pre-application trainings. APD operators and managers should also complete EQC prior to taking the test. The test must be completed without help from anyone. If you fail, you may take the test again. If you fail a second time, your application may be denied. You must also retake an ACHP-approved basic training course before taking the test again. Required Trainings Within One Year of Role Approval
