Bulky waste

Bulky waste is waste that is too large to be accepted by regular waste collection. Examples include furniture, Christmas trees, and mattresses.

How do I dispose of bulky waste?

You can contact your hauler directly to schedule a bulky waste collection, typically for a small fee, or you can take your bulky waste to a metro transfer station.

Metro will accept appliances and electronics for free, and you can dispose of other bulky waste, including tires, furniture, Christmas trees, boats and campers, and more for a fee.
