Multnomah County Service Area

Our licensed haulers collect garbage and recycling in unincorporated Multnomah County only. Cities administer their own programs. See our Service Area Map.

 

Set Up Collection Service

Contact one of our Licensed Haulers directly to request new service at your address or to make changes to your existing collection service. Please note that Multnomah County does not set up collection service.

Recycle or Not is a handy tool that helps you sort items that are known to be confusing. With helpful images, a fun game to test your knowledge, and an Instagram account where experts answer your recycling questions, it won’t take long to learn what you can and can’t recycle at home and at work.
