Acquisitions Correspondence (L08-001): Series documents communications received or sent which document routine actions concerning the acquisition of materials for the county library system. Records include letters sent and received, memoranda, notes, transmittals, acknowledgements, community affair notices, charity fund drive records, routine requests for information or publications, enclosures, and attachments.

Cataloging Work Slips (L08-004): Documents special cataloging instructions on certain library materials. Slips show item name and description, date, and cataloging instructions.

Requests For Materials (L08-003): Documents patron requests that specific library materials be ordered. Requests show date, material requested, and other information needed to acquire materials.
Retention: If selected: retain until entered in computer system; if not selected: discard immediately. (2000-0025/017)
Vouchers (L08-002): Documents the purchase of all library materials for all branch libraries. Includes vouchers, invoices, correspondence, and related documentation concerning the purchase. Includes information on outstanding claims.
