Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge

We are taking the lead to provide our community with the first bridge in downtown Portland that will be immediately usable after a major earthquake.

Board approves design option for future Burnside Bridge

At its board meeting Sept. 12, 2024, the Multnomah County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted a resolution to move forward with the inverted Y design option for the future Burnside Bridge.
