Eileen Brady - Experience Portland Can Count On

A Progressive Approach to Creating Jobs

With Nature’s and New Seasons Market, Eileen helped create neighborhood grocery stores with progressive workplaces, offering healthcare to all employees and their families, including domestic partners. Eileen’s experience growing sustainable organizations and creating good jobs will guide her work as Mayor.

“Eileen Brady, one of my fellow Co-Founders of New Seasons Market, contributed greatly to the company’s success. I have tremendous confidence in her experience, determination, and values. Portland needs Eileen’s strong, results-oriented, common sense leadership In City Hall.” - Stan Amy

A Leader in Providing Healthcare for Our Children

Eileen built coalitions creating positive change, and will do so as Mayor. As Vice Chair of the Oregon Health Fund Board, she helped bring together consumer advocates, labor, and business to pass 2009 legislation providing healthcare for an additional 94,000 children.

“We have a myth in Portland that we can’t have a progressive city and a thriving economy. Let’s break through that myth, create good jobs and fund core city services.” - Eileen Brady
